John, Not often you get chance of a shot like that out of a studio :) The difference between the two is very subjective and in my opinion is that the B&W one is timeless. You could but that on a wall and since it is of someone recognisable (and a legend) then it will still be impressive in 50 years time. The colour one is leaning more to reportage and is of the day and would look good in a magasine article. Fantastic shot and to be honest it would have been good of anyone with character but the man, the legend, the shot, the timing and the clarity excelent.
