To Lee or not to Lee

I've been looking at my range of Cokin P filters recently and some are getting a little bit ropey now with a few scratches etc...

I'm considering whether to move systems altogether to Lee Filters or replace the badly abused ones.

What are your views? Will quality be noticable over Cokin. I know durability is also an issue with Lee Filters being glass (and you all know how careful I am)

Thoughts appreciated.

Personally I'm not sure if you will benefit from Lee filters except from the maybe the widest apertures on 20mm lens or lower. Any imperfections between the two will be so blown out that they will not be perceptible even at the closest scrutiny. That is not to say that you should not look after them! Why not get a filter folder that you can keep them safe in. Lee filters are v-nice but a very expensive change for very limited benefit. Now if you are doing medium/large format then maybe the debate would change. Posted by Chris
